What is Laminate flooring?

Laminate flooring is a multi-layer flooring material made from wood fibers designed to offer the look and feel of real wood at just the fraction of the cost. It is made from four layers compressed togather in one single operation at a very high temperature and pressure and then cut into planks of different sizes with tounge and groove mechanism.
-The top is an innovative transparent layer made out of aluminium oxide that protects the decorative layer underneath it. It helps to protect the floor from every day wear and tear and ensures long lasting durability and stain resistance.
-The second is the decorative layer which is a high defination printed image of wood on malamine impregnated paper that replicates the look of real wood.

-The core is made of high-density fibreboard (HDF), with more than 80% reclaimed hardwood fibres that provides exceptional structure strength and durability.
– The bottom layer is made of malamine impregnated paper that provides protection to the core from ground moisure and ensures dimensional stability.
